Green Energy Doors Open a province-wide success

Ontario has established itself as a leader in sustainable energy in North America and is the first jurisdiction in North America to get rid of dirty coal. So far Feed-inTariff projects have created more than 35,000 new green jobs and we want to see that trend continue.
“We’re really excited about the high turnout we had across the province with over 1,000 people participating! Family, friends, neighbours, community leaders and politicians took the time to visit and learn about the amazing sustainable energy projects in their backyards. The fact that so many came out reinforces how invaluable green energy is and that there is real support for sustainable energy. After all who doesn't want to create good jobs, more resilient communities and a healthier environment?” explained Kristopher Stevens, Executive Director of OSEA.
The goal of Green Energy Doors Open is to showcase the great work being done across the province. We want to provide Ontarians with the opportunity to touch and see real projects and speak with those with direct experience with conservation, renewable energy and other beneficial sustainable energy solutions.
